I have always enjoyed this app. But since the latest update it has way to many bugs. During the challenge the Keyboard lags bad. I would also like to have more challenges. Hope the developer reads these reviews. Last review I wrote I gave 5 stars now its a 3. Sorry.

Update (8/19): The Daily Challenge has been restored in the last update, but the problems with the keyboard still persist, hence making getting a decent time on it quite frustrating. Update (8/6): The daily challenge has now completely ceased functioning, seeming to always think that the current date is November 30th, 2000. I honestly think the developer has given up on this application.. Now definitely not worth a thin dime, Im sorry to say. Previous 3 star review: This used to be my favorite app, but ever since the last update which was apparently a major facelift, its buggy as hell... The keyboard is a real problem especially when trying to do the daily time challenge.. It messes up constantly.. It also often crashes while attempting to download the challenge and the leader board function has a tendency to mess up as well. Hopefully the developer reads the reviews and addresses the problems, otherwise Id say hang on to your money for now.

Love the update. Love the new interface and features. Happy to have the daily puzzle working again. Great customer service as well.

Used to be good. Often there is no daily challenge. Other times it says I did the puzzle but I didnt. Rarely does it work. I give it no stars and will remove it from my screen.

Love the app itself, but whatever you do, dont hit "share on Facebook" or youll be stuck in crypto-hell. Have to reboot phone to get app to release so I can play again. Better fix it or Im moving on and getting a refund!!

Wish I could get my money back! Promises everything but gives little! Email forget it + plenty of the other promises. Waste of $$$

The puzzles are adequate but the scoring is frustrating.

It is a fun app that lets you practice your cipher skills, and it has the option to start with hints for beginners. Another plus is that it lets you make your own cryptograms. My family and I live across the country from each other, and we all love to play the daily challenge as a way to connect with each other. However, the scoring on the daily challenge board often glitches and can be quite frustrating, as it doesnt save your time or might save the wrong time. However, overall Ive enjoyed this app quite a lot, so Id recommend it. Just regularly check for updates.

Yay they seem to have fixed all the bugs! It no longer thinks I already played the daily challenge and the timer is fixed too. Works great, and its well layer out. A little small for big fingers but not bad!

It doesnt have enough quotes. They need to be changed once in a while so the game can continue to be challenging. There are millions of quotes out there and comparatively few in the game. I love word games and do 2 or 3 crypto-quotes a day, but am getting lots of repeats. PLEASE ADD NEW QUOTES or well have to go to the OTHER crypto-quote game! :)

Great game. Love the Daily Time Challenge. Whenever there is a problem with the app it is fixed quickly.

But after laborious manual entry of the days "Custom" crypto quip its too easy to touch some wrong menu item and have your work all vanish and find yourself stuck in menus from which there is no exit, except Custom Puzzle, and have to type it all in again. Aargh. And while fighting the spelling corrector. Could that be disabled, at least? I wish there was an easier way to enter the newspapers Cryptoquip for a given date. Subscription? Perhaps OCR it via the camera. Its much more pleasant using the iphone than a pencil, except for these complaints.

I canNOT tell you how p__sd I am every time I see this app on my Touch!! This game was a JOY when I first got it...LOTS of puzzles, hints didnt vanish if you had to reset...you couldnt enter the newspapers quotes (they got me with THAT hook, and Ive SO regretted it!!), but neither were you frustrated by the glitches so many people are complaining about. Take the advise Ive since found in another apps reviews: If it works, DONT "fix" (update) it. Usually youll be sorry. Either it wont do wants promised, or itll be glitchy!

Constant crashes in this update. Surnames of those quoted are cut off. Wait to download until bugs are fixed.

Ive had this app for a couple years and its become my favorite time-waster, with interesting and intelligent quotes. I especially like the feature that allows me to enter a crypt Ive found elsewhere. But the current version crashes repeatedly. Wait to download til its fixed.

I used to use this program every day to solve cryptograms. But when the author upgraded it in version 3.0, it was impossible to get out of the screen that had you input custom puzzles. So you would be stuck there. Ive stopped using it, but I will be hoping for a workable upgrade some day.

What happened to the solve button in the input custom puzzle screen? You can type in a puzzle, but with no way to solve it! This is one of the most useful features of this app, being able to enter puzzles from the newspaper. Please fix it ASAP. Thanks.

What has happened to the daily puzzles? They have been unavailable for over a week.

Have been getting the "no puzzle today" message for quite some time. Sent an email but didnt get a response.
